Hotel Le Rempart - Tournus

Got a fairly quiet and spotless queen room with air conditioning as expected, truly enjoyed it. "the staff were accommodating and amicable. - "the location was magnificent in a quiet area of Tournus.

Excellent food and attentive service in the hotel restaurant for a late dinner. Very close to Abbey and some nice shops.

My double room here was just renovated, and I loved the awesome bathroom setup 🚿. the location is fantastic, only a 10-15 minutes' walk from this really old church.

The Hotel was in a wonderful central location for exploring the Abbaye, the Ville and the River. There were many 'interesting' eating places within 'easy' walking distance altho' we had chosen to eat at the Hotel... Choice of the Bistro or the Restaurant. We chose the Bistro located in a gorgeous Courtyard; it was a lovely warm evening. The food and wine - very good, altho' my husband's lamb was a bit charcoaled (they had said that there was a problem "with the machine"). The Hotel staff were extremely polite, friendly and accommodating.The accommodation was full of character and the bedroom was comfortable albeit economical with space (however, that was the nature of the buildings around the Abbaye). All in all extremely satisfied!

Very convenient location and although situated on a busy road, noise was not a problem. Restaurant excellent.

The restaurant was lovely with an interesting wine list. the location was particularly good and perfect, just a pleasant stroll away from an ancient church. - This hotel was set in a calm area. I had the pleasure of enjoying the charming restaurant at Hotel Le Rempart with its appealing wine selection. the ideal location of the hotel, just a leisurely walk from an ancient church, added to its charm. the tranquil setting of the hotel made for a peaceful and relaxing stay.

The pleasant setting and quality of the bistro

Had entered the grounds of next door hotel Greuze by mistake which looked splendid from the outside so when we arrived at Le Rempart we where disappointed by it's external appearance. However our opinion changed favourably once inside. Nice staff, decent room and and excellent restaurant. All in all good value for money.

The rooms are nicely furnished with great bathrooms and air conditioning, and the staff is efficient, providing good service.

Had a nice stay here. In relation to the good price paid, it was ideal place to stay with good service. All the staff was attentive, resolved my issues.

Great location for visiting an abbey church just a short walk away, about 10-15 minutes on foot from here. the food at the Michelin-starred restaurant nearby is top-notch! 🌟

Convenient location,secure parking and excellent restaurant

I felt welcomed at check in, the room was well appointed and new. One of the best rooms that I found in my 3 week trip to France.

The food in the hotel restaurant was expensive; although it was delicious and well prepared.
